Overview…
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Partner with our businesses to find newsworthy stories, activities or events
- Lead the global development, adoption and rollout of external content
- Develop messaging, draft press releases, media pitches and statements on behalf of client’s C- level executives
- Support thought leadership and manage media interviews, communications and brand building activities that promote client’s global reputation
- Develop and manage relationships with key reporters, influencers and bloggers to further increase awareness and thought leadership
- Use video, print and online channels to convey stories via owned, earned or paid channels
- Work collaboratively with others within corporate communications, including media relations, employee communications and social media
- Identify and share latest media & content trends
- Track and report out content-related measurement
Your skills and expertise:
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Marcomm Inc. is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Possess an undergraduate degree or higher in communications or marketing
- 5 to 7 years of public relations, communications experience (agency preferred), specifically writing
- Big plus is experience in PR specifically for Health Care and/or Consumer Brands
