Senior Marketing Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead their efforts to deliver the most customer centric shopping and ownership experience in the sports and recreation market.  This individual will partner with brand teams, interactive experience teams, the customer experience team and agency partners to develop and implement an integrated journey across the digital ecosystem to the dealership to post-purchase owner connections. This position will have a strong focus on the digital experience, dealer activation and lead management. The ideal candidate is consumer driven, data focused, digital savvy and has a strong bias for action and results.

Experience with CRM and lead cultivation is a preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Interactive Digital Experience
  • Enable consumers to quickly interact and easily access information across media, devices & dealers
  • Lead development of new digital shopping tools to enhance the consumer journey
  • Direct short and long-term digital platform strategies and plans to best connect consumers from digital properties to local dealer properties to retail purchase
  • Partner with sales to develop and implement dealer best practices and process for digital activation
  • Lead Management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Direct short and long-term plans and strategies to evaluate and improve brand team approaches to quality lead development
  • Evaluate existing lead management processes and flow from corporate to dealer
  • Formulate efforts to establish partnerships and initiatives to maximize lead generation that drives retail result
  • Partner with the customer experience team and other internal teams to develop new tools, share best practices and process
  • Evaluate current practices and formulate recommendations to segment brand databases for purposes of direct and ongoing communication
  • Establish and track the results of key-performance-indicators (KPI’s)
  • Dealer Marketing Activation
  • Lead the development and implementation of all dealer marketing programs, including sales events and point of purchase assets
  • Partner with the customer experience team to enhance dealer marketing programs, including enhancing the digital experience
  • Voice of Customer and Competition
  • Track and analyze competitive programs, actions and practices within the lower funnel activities in the marketplace inclusive of lead management, CRM and web connections
  • Formulate customer satisfaction feedback to direct and improve the path to purchase journey

Skills & Knowledge:

  • MBA preferred (or comparable experience), with 6-10 years marketing experience and 3-5+ years managerial experience.
  • Customer relationship management and strong digital experience
  • Proven track record of marketing expertise and successes, with hands-on knowledge of strategy, competitive analysis, development, advertising, promotion, market research and portfolio management
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to effectively work across teams
  • An understanding, appreciation and or passion for motorized vehicles
  • Strong problem solving & organizational skills
