Channel Marketing Coordinator

MARCOMM Inc. is looking to hire a Channel Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will lead the execution of marketing projects, and support group projects for a divisional distribution channel.


The Channel Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for administering an online literature creation / personalization website for industrial distributors

  • Project manage the migration of the website from the existing vendor’s platform to a new vendor’s platform
    • Coordinate with internal resources and the platform vendor to ensure the new tool meets expectations
    • Define and communicate project timelines, milestones, and expectations to stakeholders
    • Identify, record, and resolve project issues, escalating to management as necessary
  • Execute program launch activities
    • Create promotional content about the new tool
    • Produce a narrated PowerPoint user tutorial
    • Onboard users to the new platform
  • Perform ongoing program administration tasks
    • Design / set up / manage “build your own” product literature templates
    • Load division collateral for personalization
    • Set up new users in the system, and update user info / distributors logos as needed
    • Provide user support (log-in issues, tool usage, etc.)
    • Troubleshoot product data and printing issues

Execute the marketing message development and distribution processes across internal and external audiences, including sales teams and management, division stakeholders, distributor principals, and distributor sales representatives.

  • Implement internal and external communications tactics, to include:
    • Audience identification
    • Message categorization and development
    • Planning
    • Content development
    • Delivery systems identification
    • Implementation
  • Collaborate with partner divisions to aggregate messages, then funnel them to identified audience types via the appropriate delivery vehicles
  • Publish a communications calendar and maintain it in a shared location
  • Track and communicate marketing program results (forecast, sales, ROI)

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Minimum (3) years of marketing, communications, and/or project management experience
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, and/or business from an accredited university
  • Experience planning and executing marketing, digital marketing, and/or communications tactics
  • Strong project management skills with attention to details
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams
  • Leadership, team building, time management, and self-direction skills
  • Strong problem solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience in the industrial channel
