Customer Experience Strategist

The person hired for the position of Global Customer Experience Strategist will be responsible for managing key projects relating to the deployment, use and optimization of marketing technologies in the Safety and Industrial Business Group. This individual will partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, IT and Corporate Operations teams to align, develop and enhance capabilities on creating digital experiences that are high quality, easily accessible, and meet customer needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Customer Experience Leader to suggest ideas based on customer feedback, work to shape those ideas, and define an execution plan
  • Coordinate the deployment and optimization of our new product catalog taxonomy and classification
  • Build job aids and facilitate training on how to implement eCommerce capabilities; including WTB Commerce Connector and Marketplace
  • Consult on wireframing, design pattern libraries and metadata best practices
  • Understand how our internal search engine discovers, organizes, and ranks content, to help guide strategy and best practices for optimization
  • Analyze customer feedback through internal tools to identify customer pain points and opportunities to for improvement and assess features for future prioritization
  • Inform and educate internal stakeholders about new functionality, enhancements and processes related.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
  • 5+ years of experience working in a digital customer experience role, with extensive knowledge of a CMS platform
  • Experience working with Salesforce, JIRA, Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Desire to maximize how marketing technology drives revenue
  • Strong project management/organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously for different teams targeting different audiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate across various departments within the organization
  • Experience with HTML/CSS building product configurators, product selectors and product calculators
