Conversational Designer/HR (Contract/Contract to Hire)

As the HR Digital Assistant and Knowledge Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with partners to develop unique personalities for HR’s virtual assistant and own the conversation design process, from research and design mapping to script writing and QA, to ensure an adaptive employee journey
  • Define the HR knowledge management strategy, establish writing guidelines for HR knowledge, and coordinate the content localization process for our global audiences (including language considerations) to ensure HR maintains high quality, up-to-date, and searchable content
  • Responsible for defining performance metrics and data analytics for HR’s digital assistant and providing the daily monitoring of the digital assistant’s performance to identify and lead improvements in conversational workflow, content and overall user experience through data and user insights
  • Use active learning and data to train Harriet on daily basis on new content (keywords, entities, intents) using LUIS.ai and through the building and management of FAQs in QnA Maker
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and other partners to guide the user experience of product from conception until launch, including ongoing improvements
  • Facilitate and drive testing cycles to ensure feature releases are driving the appropriate user experience as well as working as expected


Your Skills and Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Two years of experience in conversational design (including chat and chatbots) and/or utilizing chatbot technology to deliver UX-led and design thinking conversation solutions, preferably with HR-related content
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of Natural Language Processing


Preferred Skills:

  • Operate with an employee first mindset designing experiences that make it easy for employees to get the help they need quickly while reducing escalations
  • Ability to advocate for user experience and content strategy and facilitate alignment on content solutions with various partners
  • Passion for innovation in service delivery and employee experience using digital methods
  • Experience in knowledge management and content management strategies
  • Knowledge of HR systems such as: Workday; SAP, SalesForce or other HR Systems
  • Familiarity / experience with any of the frameworks or methodologies such as Lean Agile methodologies
  • Self-starter and experience in working at a collaborative, global, multi-cultural environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
