Brand Specialist (Contract/Contract to hire)

Job Summary:

As a Brand Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with the portfolios, integration team partners, and division counterparts to understand business needs, issues, and opportunities to align brand to business success
  • Assisting in formalizing and driving brand governance across relevant touch points to ensure clear linkage to business vision, brand strategy, compliance, and brand protection
  • Managing creation/providing updates to and consulting on brand-related guidance documents while navigating appropriate checkpoints; helping to communicate guidance and assisting with training of portfolios, areas, business partners, and agencies
  • Assisting with helping portfolios manage the brand portfolio in alignment with the brand architecture and hierarchy, including potential creation of new brands or products, co-branding or licensing, brand rationalization, etc.
  • Helping determine and manage project deliverables and timelines as well as associated metrics for success

Basic Qualifications:

  • Data-driven self-starter with demonstrated competency in brand management
  • Effective team player with proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Lead by example, develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years of brand marketing experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and respond to business demands
  • Adept at problem solving and energized by fast-paced, complex work environment
  • Previous experience with integration projects and/or highly-regulated industries
  • Exercises and enjoys attention to detail
